Laser triangulation measurement – maximum precision in hazardous areas!

Are you looking for a reliable solution for precise distance measurements under demanding conditions? Our laser triangulation measurement offers you exactly that: maximum precision directly in hazardous areas!
With the LTG product family (based on proven Micro-Epsilon sensors), we are setting new standards for industrial measurement tasks – from level measurement for solvents, thickness measurement, and diameter determination to quality and imbalance control.
How does it work? A laser point is projected onto the measurement object. Depending on the distance, the reflected light hits a receiving element at a specific angle – the sensor uses this to calculate the exact distance. Simple principle, exceptional precision.
Here are the highlights that distinguish our laser triangulation sensors:
Maximum explosion safety: Approved for Ex zones 1, 2, 21, and 22 (gas and dust Ex). Thanks to optical power limitation, our sensors can even be used directly in zones 0 and 20!
Micrometer accuracy: You can rely on outstanding accuracy in distance measurements with a repeatability of < 10 µm.
Reliable & fast: Benefit from a high measurement rate of up to 2 kHz and stable measurement values – completely independent of the color and brightness of the object being measured.
Robust design: The explosion-proof, robust metal housing in pressure-resistant “Ex d” enclosure and IP65 protection rating guarantee durability in industrial environments.
Easy to use: A visible laser light makes alignment particularly easy.
The LTG is used in heavy industry, the automotive industry, the pharmaceutical industry, the chemical industry, and the paint industry, among others.
