Intrinsically Safe 12V Power Supply for Ex Zones

Intrinsically safe 12V power supply with integrated signal conditioning for sensors in hazardous areas of Ex Zones 0, 1, 2, as well as 20, 21, and 22; ideal for gas and dust atmospheres in process and industrial plant applications. The type of protection is intrinsic safety (Ex i), which limits energy to prevent the occurrence of ignitable sparks or temperatures in the field circuit.

ATEX Compliant with Type Examination

Certified safety with ATEX Type Examination Certificate: PTB 03 ATEX 2206. This approval provides planning security for engineering, procurement, and audits, and confirms compliance for use in the specified zones.

ASSURIX Compatibility

Directly suitable for connection with intrinsically safe sensors of the ASSURIX series. This enables seamless integration into existing measurement chains, reduces commissioning times, and ensures reproducible measurement signals under Ex conditions.

Flexible Outputs

Available with either relay or electronic output. This allows flexible connection to PLC inputs, safety relays, or industrial I/O – from potential-free contacts to low-wear semiconductor outputs for high switching frequencies.

Adjustable Timing Functions

Features adjustable ON-delay and OFF-delay. These timers stabilize switching states, filter contact bounce/interference pulses, and enhance process safety in the presence of vibrations, pressure spikes, or temporary signal loss.
